Behavioral Consultations

Our focus at Zen Dog Training is early intervention, positive reinforcement (gentle techniques) and teaching owners modern methods that quickly help your dog understand what you want!

Naughty Dog
Great for tougher issues and for families who want more individual trainer time. Inclusive program with extra one-on-one training specifically designed to fit the needs of your family and pet.

        6 Month Program ~ Includes DVD, (4) In-Home Visits + (2) telephone consultations

Intensive program is designed to teach people how to make small changes in their day-to-day routine that gently show our dogs how to live in harmony with us.

Pre-Baby Preparation
Help your furry family member prepare for the new baby! This class refreshes basic obedience skills and teaches new skills that are specifically useful to help dogs and babies become best buddies.   (Gift Certificates Available)

First Visit: You'll Learn...How dogs learn, How to 'speak dog' and time-proven methods to quickly teach your dog basic obedience. Includes, Zen Dog Training's unique step-by-step system to gently stop unwanted behaviors!

Second Visit: After your dog has learned to listen and participate IN the home, we take the training OUTSIDE and teach loose-leash manners, social skills, train without treats...also how to idenfity healthy dog-dog play and training tips to help you on walks, in the park, and on the street.
