New Puppy Training
Our focus at Zen Dog Training is early intervention, positive reinforcement (gentle techniques) and teaching owners modern methods that quickly help your dog understand what you want!
Feeling Overwhelmed?
On a very limited basis younger puppies (8-14wks old) can be taken into "The Zen Den" for our special 6 night puppy program. Includes housetraining, playbiting, socialization and lots of love, mental stimulation and exercise.

In-Home Training
In-home training visits to help you and your puppy get off to a health start! Puppies must be 6 months or younger.

Initial Consultation: You'll Learn...How dogs learn, How to 'speak dog' and time-proven methods to quickly teach your dog basic obedience. Includes, customized Zen Dog Training plan that uses our step-by-step system to gently stop unwanted behaviors!
Follow-up visits: After we have created a plan - we can help you implement the training in your home and with your family. Once your dog starts to listen to you and you have practiced basic training we work on advanced applications.
Advanced applications - Working 1on1 with younger family members, coming over at dinner to help with begging or helping at a party to help teach how to stop jumping up / exuberant greeting. Next steps include, training OUTSIDE the house to teach loose-leash manners, social skills, train without treats...
We can even meet you at the park to help identify healthy dog-dog play and give real-world training tips to help you on walks, in the park, and on the street.
